Camilla Rodriguez is a high school senior in California. She enjoys crocheting and reads a variety of authors and genres to broaden her knowledge. Through her own experiences and the photographic documentation of others, Camilla conveys stories. Camilla’s goal is to communicate her identity to others through writing, and publish a book that shares her transformative experience of having immigrant parents.
Artist‘s Statement
I think I did not grow as a writer with being in the Girls Write Now program. I explored writing on my own, outside of the program, for assignments and college essays. So I don't know how to write an artist stamens because I did not create any work with my mentor.
