Genesis Juarez is currently an English undergrad student at The University of North Texas. She's studied various literature courses such as Shakespeare, play analysis, American literature, and more. Juarez has developed her playwrighting/creative writing career by being in two ten-minute play festivals and as an assistant design director for North Texas Review. She bases much of what she writes on her own experiences as a Mexican-American first-generation in America.
Artist‘s Statement
I believe that collaborating with others will help you achieve beyond what you expect. I also believe allowing yourself to heal and take into consideration your own mental health will bring a new sort of content to an art piece.
