Nina is a Brooklyn-born mental health advocate, writer, and community leader dedicated to fostering empowerment and reducing stigma around mental health conditions. As the Community Manager at The Mighty, she cultivates safe, inclusive spaces for people navigating health challenges to share their stories and find connection.Nina is also the founder and creator of sparklywartanks.com, a reflective and empowering blog that blends personal storytelling with tools for self-growth, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience. She regularly presents with NAMI-NYC through the In Our Own Voice and Ending The Silence programs, using her lived experience to educate and inspire others. In addition to her advocacy and writing, Nina organizes and facilitates creative workshops that offer participants opportunities to explore their identities, build confidence, and connect in community. Through all her work, she is driven by a passion for storytelling, healing, and helping others feel seen, heard, and empowered.
