AI can replicate form, but not the glorious quirks of you. In the Sharpening Your Inimitable Voice in the Age of AI journey, we’ll explore the tenets of human inimitability—Play, Empathy, Friction, Serendipity, Physicality—and explore AI tools that amplify (not blur) your unique voice. That wonderful, specific, spiky point of view that each of us has—and that the world needs now more than ever.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and Workshop Your Signature Voice–Explore what makes your voice unique and embrace the distinctive qualities of your personal writing style.
- Use Curiosity to Spark Creativity–Use experimentation, questioning, and imaginative exercises to unlock new creative pathways.
- Use AI to Amplify Your Voice–Explore tools and techniques that use AI to enhance your creative work without compromising authenticity.
- Explore Humanity in the AI Era–Engage in conversations with peers and guest speakers to examine creativity, identity, and humanity in an AI-driven world.
Requirements
- 2 pair sessions per month
- Attend all live Journey Meetings (see the Engagement Dates section below)
- Complete all lessons and assignments provided in the course
- Develop and submit a spiky portfolio

Voice and Authenticity in the Age of AI (Fall 2025)
In this companion course, you’ll dive into five core tenets that highlight what makes human creativity irreplicable: Play, Empathy, Friction, Serendipity, and Embodied Intelligence. Through bitsized lessons and creative prompts, you will craft short pieces that sharpen your voice, deepen self-awareness, and celebrate the wonderfully unreapeatable quirks that make your storytelling unmistakably yours.
Engagement Dates
Participants will attend one Journey Live Meetings each month as part of the course for the cycle. Additionally, you can schedule 1:1 office hours with the Journey Instructor for individual assistance as needed.
Fall Cycle Journey Meetings:

- Thursday, December 11th, 2025 at 7:30pm ET
- Thursday, January 15th, 2026 at 7:30pm ET
If you’re unable to attend a Journey meeting, you must notify your Staff Lead in advance and attend a community event to make up for it—strongly recommended options for this journey include Leadership Community Studios, Community Conversations, and Career Chats.
