SUMMARY:Writing the Future in a Changing Climate
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by positive visioning work\, this studio explores climate fiction and how to imagine the world we hope to see in the future. Participants in this studio will explore world-building\, collaborative visioning\, and climate storytelling. Participants will read examples of climate fiction\, learn about future visioning methods\, and expand their imaginations to write about hopeful futures that are just and sustainable. \nIn this session\, participants will learn about positive visioning for climate futures\, read excerpts of a climate fiction story\, and brainstorm ideas for a positive climate future. The lesson will culminate in the co-creation of a future climate narrative.
