Committee Description
At Girls Write Now, we creatively challenge the status quo in media and our world. From program development to editorial approach to marketing, philanthropy, and beyond, we strive to foster a space that is inclusive of all the brilliant voices that make up our vibrant community. To that end, we have established a suite of committees called “Intersectional Voices” or “IV” Committees, which are all leadership opportunities for mentors, mentees, and members of our core community to take a direct stake in and contribute to Girls Write Now as an organization and community.

Join our Intersectional Voices in Editorial-digital (IVEdit-Digital)! This group assists with editorial, outreach, and publication of all Girls Write Now Stories, as well as envisioning how Girls Write Now can continue to be a leader in a new era of publishing.
Committee Activities
This editorial body is made of volunteers who will engage with the stories and creations from the Girls Write Now community. Many of them have been or are current members of that community, and they know very well that the work our mentees create is powerful and deserves our care and respect.
