- Complete Publishing Fundamentals Course
- Complete Marketing Fundamentals Course
- Attend one Community Experience per month
- Hold at least one pair session per month
- Submit at least one piece to be published on Girls Write Now’s website
Perspectives on Publishing Package
As a mentee or mentor in the Perspectives on Publishing Journey, you’ll have access to online courses designed to help you learn about all the options available to you to publish your creative work and how to use marketing as a tool to promote yourself and your work. You’ll be paired with a mentee or mentor for one full cycle, and you’ll meet with them at least twice each month. You’ll attend at least one community engagement experience a month.
Perspectives on Publishing Courses
The courses in Perspectives on Publishing are designed to help you learn about all the options available to you to publish your creative work and how to use marketing as a tool to promote yourself and your work.
Courses:
- Publishing Fundamentals
Learn about the publishing process, exploring different methods and practices to get your work out into the world: traditional publishing, independent publishing, online publishing. A great course for those who want to learn about the publishing world in general and learn about a variety of options! - Marketing Fundamentals
Learn how to market yourself, your work and the message of a brand/product/organization.

Perspectives on Publishing Mentoring
Mentors and mentees in the Perspectives on Publishing will be paired one full cycle. Each pair will meet for at least 2 hour-long pair session each month.
The Perspectives on Publishing Journey requires two hour-long pair sessions per month. If you’d like to mentor but cannot commit to this requirement, click here.
Perspectives on Publishing Community Experiences
Mentees and mentors in the Perspectives on Publishing Journey must attend at least one Community Experience per month. It is strongly recommended that they attend Exploratory Community Studios, Affinity Group Meetings, College & Career Chats, and Salon Experiences.

Perspectives on Publishing is a part of the Publish 360 Adventure.
