Lead 360 is a yearlong initiative to harness the power of storytelling and inspire change.
Bolstered by Girls Write Now’s hands-on education, resources, and networks, mentees in our Lead 360 program designed original projects using storytelling and creativity to make an impact on their local communities. From promoting menstrual equity to establishing community-centered creative programs, explore mentees’ vision for a better future.
Learning from Leaders
Through interactive workshops, Lead 360 mentors and mentees gained powerful insights from leadership professionals, including Alex Budak, author of Becoming a Changemaker, and Dr. Noni Denise Carter, author, scholar, and financial advisor.

Projects for Social Change
From sowing native plant seeds to providing educational opportunities to under-resourced communities, our mentees are collaborating to build better futures. Over the course of the year, Lead 360 mentees worked with their mentors and fellow young leaders to write essays on social justice topics, ideate about ways to address these issues, and created community-based projects. Our mentees will continue to grow these projects and develop their skills with the continued support of Girls Write Now.
