Girls Write Now Leads in the Literary Scene Through Adversity

LitNYS is the nation’s largest ecosystem of literary arts organizations, building literary capacity, community, and culture for 25 years. Girls Write Now is proud to be a recipient of a 2025 capacity building grant—and to be presenting at this year’s convening in Hudson, NY from September 14-16. Girls Write Now Executive Director Maya Nussbaum will lead a panel on Capacity Building: The Road To Strategic Growth, sharing vital information with fellow literary organizations, and facilitating discussion to leverage leaders’ unique strengths and experience.
Girls Write Now is honored to serve as a Communications Partner on social media and engagement for LitNYS, hosting convenings, producing podcasts, and creating a monthly newsletter called LitNews NYS. LitNews NYS is a monthly digest of features, resources, and opportunities from the LitNYS network. With attacks on our freedoms mounting daily, now is the time to strengthen and project our collective voices, and Girls Write Now is committed to facilitating connections between LitNYS partners to further this goal.
