Silver Member Renisha Conner Releases Song “Humility”

“While life comes with its many challenges and obstacles, I’ve found myself subconsciously trying to figure things out and get by on my own. After taking some moments of reflection recently, I was reminded of the many challenges Christ helped me out of and the many ways He’s rescued me. That led me to ask myself two questions.

1. “Why do I feel the need to figure this [situation] out on my own?”

2. “Why am I trying to do life apart from the Creator of life?” As a Christian, I can say honestly that yes, there are times where I want to take matters into my own hands and do things in ways I think is right. But, “it takes humility to know that I need help…” My reason for writing that lyric is self-explanatory.

May this song remind you that doing life with the Creator of it is better than doing life by yourself. May we all humble ourselves to know that God knows each and every one of us and the path He has for us is perfect. May you experience His love and be led by His grace and truth.
