Girls Write Now + YoungArts Virtual Open House

April 17th 2025, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

On April 17, GWN will host a virtual Open House with YoungArts. Join us to learn how GWN can enrich your life as a mentor…or a mentee. Hear from mentees and mentors about their experience, write and reflect, and discover a warm supportive community invested in the whole artist, not just their artistry.

BOOK FINISHING FUNDS

April 22, 2025

Bestselling author James Patterson is providing grants to Girls Write Now mentors, mentees, silver members, and members in the amount of $10,000-$50,000 to finish their books! 2-3 proposals will be selected from our community.
To apply for the grant, submit a proposal of 250 words for a book in any genre that includes a summary, any progress on the book, working title, outline, etc. Proposals are due Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
