Artist‘s Statement
This year has been an emotional roller coaster. My mentor supported me throughout the year in writing and other creative endeavors such as dance, visual arts, and debate. I had so much fun attending monthly workshops and always looked forward to Friday pair sessions! Needless to say, I am forever grateful for the creative opportunities Girls Write Now provided this year and am eager to explore writing further in the years to come.
