Welcome to Mentoring Best Practices, the second Girls Write Now Collaboratory Toolkit course in the Orientation Journey! We’re so glad you’re here.
The GWN Collaboratory Toolkit courses are designed for program participants to be provided with the resources and tools needed to begin and maintain your pair relationship, participate in the Collaboratory, and be a well-connected member of the GWN Community.
This course is designed to equip mentors with the skills and knowledge to cultivate effective, genuine mentoring relationships. Through a blend of insights and practical applications, both mentors and mentees can receive key techniques for setting goals, managing conflicts, and employing unique pedagogies — all to strengthen the goal of supporting and guiding mentees in their personal and professional growth.
Specific topics range from relationship building, goal setting, conducting healthy conversation, and more.
