India Choquette is a former Vermonter living in New York City. She has her MFA in Creative Writing Program at the City College of New York, where she won the Stark Short Fiction Prize, and has received support from the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference and Art Farm. Her work has been published by Hobart, 365Tomorrows, Foglifter, and others. She is also an editor at Teachers & Writers Magazine, which has published her writing on teaching creative writing, and she teaches creative writing and composition at the City College of New York. She lives with her spouse and two cats in a plant-filled apartment.
