Kate Riley has been an actor, waiter, bookseller, selectwoman, poll worker, children’s theater director and SAT tutor. Most recently, she has had the honor of fundraising on behalf of youth, women, families and arts education in New York City and Los Angeles. A native (and one-term elected official) of Middletown, CT, she has a History degree from Wesleyan University, where she co-founded its first comedy improv troupe. Today, she is a writer at the National Guild for Community Arts Education and half of an amateur songwriting team devoted to Grover the Boston Terrier.
