My work gives voice to complicated realities beneath oversimplified narratives in today's world. I explore multicultural identity, coming of age, family systems, mental illness, and a broken healthcare system. These issues are flattened by popular politics, yet deserve space to breath, morph, rearrange. These are dynamic, human, vulnerable issues, and my writing honors that.
