The first writing and mentoring program of its kind, Girls Write Now consistently ranks among the top youth programs in the country for social-emotional growth. Under Maya's leadership, the award-winning nonprofit has mentored a new generation of writers and leaders who are shaping culture, transforming industries, and bridging communities. Maya has been recognized three times by the White House, including by the President's Committee on the Arts & Humanities and as a White House Champion of Change.
