Nuzhat Ahmed was born and raised in New York! Her family is from Bangladesh and her life has been a mix of American and Bengali culture. She loves to write and started writing poems and stories at age 5! She felt a passion for writing when her poem placed first in a talent show for Black History Month. One of her first achievements was placing 7th in the New York State Poetry Slam! Now, she’s focused on making a career in writing and hopes to inspire and entertain others through her own experiences to help them escape from their struggles.
