Process

This pair piece was one that came from two short stories we wrote separately. After sharing them with each other, we both realized we wanted to combine them, and have our characters meet. We spent numerous sessions discussing who our characters are– their flaws, likes, dislikes, etc. We figured out how they molded together and where they differed. The goal was to have two completely different people meet, and help each other. Our characters communicate entirely through text, so we wanted to embody that and created a template that resembled a phone, and texting. This definitely pushed us creatively and forced us out of our comfort zone.
