At our first pair meeting, we were excited to discover that we have one very significant thing in common—we both have an invisible chronic illness. We quickly decided that we wanted to create art together about themes related to living with invisible illnesses and disabilities. Recording episode one—about diagnoses—came first, and the trailer came later, once we had a sense of themes, style and tone.
