Barbie honors writer Isabel Allende with new doll and donates $25,000 to Girls Write Now
Barbie celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring the changemakers whose stories helped shape the world and continue to inspire generations.
In tribute to the newest honoree in the Barbie Inspiring Women line, writer Isabel Allende, Barbie is donating $25,000 to Girls Write Now to help the next generation write their own stories.
The Barbie Dream Gap Project and Girls Write Now will also host a series of events beginning in Hispanic Heritage Month to spark discussion, creativity, and connection for girls and their role models.
Want your own doll? Join us at our Storytelling for Change event on September 19 for a chance to go home with your very own Isabel Allende doll, or purchase online.
