This year with Girls Write Now has been a time for creativity and imagination with words above all. From working with my brilliant mentee to spending time in the community workshops, I have become more fluent in my storytelling, ready to face the black page!. The stories I wrote during GWN came from prompts during the fiction workshops. In my own writing, as I work on a book about color composed of essays, my voice has become clearer and more fluid as I weave information with personal stories
