Marianne E. Murphy is an American writer, speaker, mental health advocate, and the founder of Dance Walking Fool, INC, a lived experience informed suicide prevention education nonprofit. Marianne is a diverse writer. She began her writing career writing resumes than became a medical ghostwriter, and a business plan writer. Every business plan she has written has received VC or angel funding. Today, she is more focused on memoir, poetry, and content for her nonprofit. Her nonprofit has been cast on the TV show “Inside Success: America’s Authors” and will film on October 7, 2026 in Miami Beach.
Marianne is excited to be a first term mentor for Girls Write Now and looks forward to continuing working with the organization.
