Adama is a recent premedical graduate of the University of Rochester, where she earned a dual degree in Public Health and Creative Writing. While pursuing her goal of becoming a physician, she also aspires to be an author. Drawing on her creative voice as a “first-time human,” Adama often turns to the natural world to cultivate new understandings of life and its experiences—for both herself and her readers.
