Deborah loves to write because she believes that there is magic in storytelling, that it has the power to promote empathy and understanding in strangers. Currently she attends school in the lush Hudson Valley where she is studying education. When she’s not studying for hours on end in the library or working on her next poem or play, you can find her advocating for the environment, exploring New York City, or spending time with loved ones.
