Lauren Hacke is a high school junior in Colorado. She enjoys writing novels, poetry, and short stories, and she loves exploring all kinds of creative expression. Lauren enjoys reading, archery, and fossil hunting in her spare time.
Artist‘s Statement
I create stories that either reflect my own experiences or seek to help others; I find that my best work is a combination of these. Through writing, I have found ways to feed off of my strengths as well as tackle my fears. My writing is motivated by my interest in fighting for the causes I care about, such as ocean conservation and sustainability. I hope others learn something new and helpful from my work!
