Oliver Zou is the 2026 LGBTQ+ Youth Poet Laureate for Lambda Literary whose work centers around their identity as a queer and nonbinary Chinese-American writer. They create to embolden young people, promoting the necessity of vulnerability within craft. Their style emphasizes the visceral and intangible, working towards resistance through the assertion of community and freedom as pillars of existence. Beyond this, they can be found sunbathing by the window, curled up with a classic.
