Tania Merolla

(she/her)

Tania Merolla (she/her) graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning her B.A. in Communication, and gained industry experience interning in film development, publishing (serving as a managing editor), audio/video editing, and marketing/social media.

With nearly 20 years of experience in school plays, community theatre, and acting classes, performance remains her ultimate creative home and primary goal. This passion informs her thematic analysis, notably in her rhetorical critique of Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where she explored genre, representation, and audience expectations.

A TEDxUNLV 2024 speaker (How I Learned to Walk Again), Tania’s work is driven by a powerful personal journey: realizing that true heroism means embracing one’s unique identity. She is committed to creating narratives that connect, challenge, and empower. Whether she’s performing, directing, or writing a new script, Tania is always chasing heroic stories – eager to bring her voice and vulnerability to the world’s most enduring narratives.
