Tish Rabe is the New York Times bestselling author of over 220 rhyming books for Sesame Street, Disney, Dr. Seuss, Nickelodeon, PBS Kids and many more with over 11 million copies sold. She is also the Founder and Content Creator for Tish Rabe Books, an independent children's publishing company that creates books, songs and animations that make a positive difference in the lives of children, parents, teachers and caregivers. She is trained as a professional singer and sang for Jim Henson's Muppets on Sesame Street. During that time, she wrote her first children's book "Bert and the Broken Teapot". In 1991, following the death of Dr. Seuss, she was hired by Random House to write "The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library", a series of rhyming science books for early readers. She has written over 50 Cat in the Hat books as well as books for the Lorax and the Grinch. She has also written lyrics for over 250 children's songs for broadcast television and is an Animation Head Writer and Script Writer. She was the singing voice for Cinderella for Disney book and audio products and continues performing with her band ,TishRabe and Friends.
