Hello! Welcome to College Readiness, the writing component of your College 360 Journey. This course is designed to help develop essential skills across various domains: First, prioritize your academic journey by evaluating factors like campus environment, diversity, and extracurricular opportunities to ensure they align with your educational goals. Second, grasp the nuances of crafting a compelling personal statement, distinct from other essays, highlighting your academic achievements, community involvement, values, and future aspirations effectively. Specific topics range from college candidacy, personal statements and funding your education.
Learning Objectives

- Identify personal and academic accomplishments, community participation, values, and future goals.

Complete each lesson in the the following course: College Readiness. As you progress through each lesson, make sure to press complete before moving on to the next.
Mentorship
You are in one of the following pair types. You pair type is listed on your GWN Portal profile.
- Type 1: Mentor/Mentee: Meet 2-3 times per month and, as a pair, attend one of the engagement events listed below at least once per month.
- Type 2 : Peer-to-Peer: Meet 2 times per month and, as a pair, attend one of the engagement events listed below at least once per month.
