Join Girls Write Now and Third Door Brooklyn for an afternoon of embodied creativity and collective reflection.
Girls Write Now is a nationally award-winning nonprofit, media incubator, and multi-generational community that mentors and amplifies the voices of writers and leaders across the country. For nearly three decades, we have broken down barriers of gender, age, race, and income to build a thriving creative community rooted in storytelling and social impact.
This collaborative workshop blends movement and writing in a thoughtfully guided experience designed to help you reconnect with your body, your voice, and your creative spark. Through an accessible yoga flow and curated writing prompts inspired by this year’s anthology theme, Metamorphosis, we’ll explore reflection, transformation, imagination, and expression in community with fellow creatives.
Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just beginning to explore your creative voice, this workshop offers space to pause, move, write, and connect. Writing materials will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own journal if you prefer.
All proceeds directly support Girls Write Now’s free, year-round mentoring and writing programs serving the next generation of storytellers and leaders.
Each ticket costs $25.
We can’t wait to move and write with you.
