About the Event

Writing doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. Through freewriting, sharing, and reflection, participants will discover new ways to express themselves and connect with their creativity. Writing can be a lonely endeavor. This studio celebrates the freedom to write, explore, and grow in community.

In almost all forms of writing, including memoir, creative nonfiction, short fiction and poetry, stories carry more authenticity when you write from your own knowledge base. In this studio, you will probe your life experiences and consider ways to str them into engaging stories and poems.
