The innovative nonprofit and media incubator Girls Write Now and leading tech company Kyndryl join forces for an intergenerational exchange about the importance of preparing the next generation of creative talent for careers in the quickly evolving world of technology.
Together, we will imagine what the future could look like in the age of AI: Girls Write Now mentees and Kyndryl employees—Mentors for the Day—share with each other their personal, academic, and/or professional stories, hopes, and dreams—engaging in small group discussion, and experimenting with a fun writing exercise.
Mentees get a glimpse of the world of cyber security from professionals who work in communications, corporate social responsibility, government affairs, and/or sustainability—making valuable contacts, practicing elevator pitches, while growing networks and portfolios.
Employees stay current with Gen Z talent, expand their horizons, and change the trajectory of lives and careers.
This event is in person at the Girls Write Now Headquarters in New York City, 247 West 37th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues, on the 10th floor.
Mentees arrive at 3:30 for pizza, snacks, and drinks; Kyndryl employees attend from 4 – 5PM.
