Come get to know your fellow Publishing 360 Mentees at this Mentee only workshop where you will have the chance to work together on an exciting small group project, de-stress in a wellness session and have a refresher on program requirements.

Meet Your Teaching Artist
Brittany Barker is an educator, poet and the creative director of Creative Soul House. She’s served in education for 8 years, as a humanities instructor, curriculum designer and a Dean of Programs where she spearheaded schoolwide youth and adult-development initiatives for enrichment and socio-emotional learning. Brittany has been recognized by the Walton Foundation for her leadership in transformative arts education and currently curates holistic and social-justice experiences for schools and organizations in local NY communities.
Jordan Gass-Pooré (she/her) is an award-winning podcast producer and investigative journalist with more than a decade of journalism experience. Presently, Jordan is the creator, producer, and host of “Hazard NJ,” a limited-series podcast about the impacts of climate change on hazardous Superfund sites in New Jersey. This podcast is in collaboration with the PBS affiliate NJ Spotlight News. Prior to this, Jordan was a producer of CNN’s podcasts, “Chasing Life” and “Coronavirus: Fact vs Fiction,” both hosted by Dr. Sanjay. She is also a producer of the investigative podcast “Sounds Like Hate,” created by the Southern Poverty Law Center and Until 20 Productions. She has a master’s degree in investigative journalism from City, University of London and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas State University.
