Fashion Forward:

Exploring a Sustainable Future

In this Journey, mentees and mentors will explore the environmental, social, and ethical impacts of the fashion industry while examining innovative approaches to sustainability. Through research, discussion, and critical analysis, mentees and mentors will develop informed perspectives on issues such as fast fashion, consumer culture, and responsible production. Using the op-ed form, participants will craft persuasive pieces that advocate for a more sustainable future and use their voices to contribute to important conversations about fashion and social change. Mentees and mentors will gain stronger critical thinking skills, deeper awareness of sustainability issues, and experience using writing as a tool for advocacy and impact.
