Process

This was a passion project for both Cathy and Ivana. As two food lovers, we knew we wanted to create a multimedia project that would bring joy. We landed on a podcast that allows us and our fabulous guests to delve into the food they grew up with, recipes from their childhood and the food specific to their culture. After Cathy got in touch with some huge names in the food industry, we were thrilled to have the brilliant food writer Bettina Makalintal on as our first guest. In this teaser, you’ll hear us all muse about our grandparents, what our dinner tables looked like growing up and the foods we still can’t get enough of. Through this process, we both discovered the fun in conducting a live interview and got to think critically about food as a point of cultural connection.
