Gianny Guzman and her mentor Hermione Hoby, whose novel Neon in Daylight comes out this week. “I am grateful to have Hermione as a mentor and a friend.”
Dear Friend,
Happy National Mentoring Month! Our big news is that we challenged our community to an ambitious goal of raising $200,000 in honor of our 20th anniversary and to support our class of 2018, and together we have raised 87% of our goal! Thank you for helping us get to $175,000 — incredible —this is more than our Appeal has ever raised. If you didn’t get a chance to give and you still want to help us reach our final goal please donate this month or contact development@girlswritenow.org for questions or consultation.
January is National Mentoring Month and every day our mentors inspire us with their steadfast dedication. Every dollar you donate will support these unique and life-changing relationships between professional women writers and media makers and our next generation of leaders.
We don’t know what this year will bring, but we do know we have the power to shape the future and Girls Write Now is 100% dedicated to supporting young women’s writing. Thank you for making this happen.
