Girls Write Now is committed to bending and blending genres at the intersection of technology and art;#BUILTBYGIRLS challenges young women to be “builders, creators, and innovators”.
Thasfia Chowdhury, a senior mentee in our Digital Media Mentoring Program, shares a few of her thoughts about #BUILTBYGIRLS following the presentation and workshop.

When technology, innovation, and fearlessness interbreed, #BUILTBYGIRLS is born. Giving young women a platform to wholesomely build, create, and transform their tech empires, #BUILTBYGIRLS is at the forefront of a trailblazing movement for intersectionalty and gender equality in STEM.
At this dope space, topics of discussion run the gamut from social to economic to technological: young women talk about love and online dating as they statistically analyze online data. The only thing greater than#BUILTBYGIRLS is the extraordinary resilience that comes from young women saying yes to tech, while tech companies say no to them.
