Channel Kindness Shouts Out Girls Write Now in Naming Woman Changemakers

Channel Kindness, a partner of Girls Write Now, names Founder Maya Nussbaum as a woman changemaker everyone should be following

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Channel Kindness, a project of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, has named Founder & Executive Director Maya Nussbaum as a changemaker that everyone should be following.

Author Emma Carroll writes of Girls Write Now, “The organization is founded on the pillars of writing, equity, mentoring, and wellness, and serves women and girls and seeks to ‘mentor and train the next generation of women writers and leaders of life.’” The article features Maya discussing the power of reading in a segment of NBCUniversal’s The More You Know, as well as a call to volunteer with Girls Write Now.
