Girls Write Now and Kyndryl Join Forces for Kyndryl Impact Day 2025

The innovative nonprofit and media incubator Girls Write Now and leading tech company Kyndryl joined forces for an intergenerational exchange about the importance of preparing the next generation of creative talent for careers in the quickly evolving world of technology.

What happens when you bring together professionals on the cutting edge of technology and cyber security with the next generation of writers and leaders? You get an intergenerational exchange that produces radical ideas for the future. On December 8th, Kyndryl employees gathered with young leaders at the Girls Write Now office in NYC for a Day of Impact. Professionals from across the Kyndryl Corporate Affairs team took time to discuss important questions around AI and technology with Gen Z thinkers from Girls Write Now. Participants responded to writing prompts such as, “What does community look like in the age of AI?” and “What scares and excites you about AI?”

Girls Write Now mentees also got to ask questions about what it’s like working at Kyndryl, broadening their knowledge of emerging fields and industries.

The room was abuzz with fresh ideas and new professional connections as Kyndryl employees and Girls Write Now participants had the chance to chat, network, and share their thoughts.
