Girls Write Now Partners with James Patterson’s “Go Finish Your Book” Campaign

We are thrilled that Girls Write Now was selected as a partner organization of bestselling author and literacy advocate James Patterson’s “Go Finish Your Book” Campaign.

The campaign is designed to eliminate some of the financial barriers that prevent talented writers from finishing their manuscripts. Each applicant submitted an initial proposal and subsequent pages for review by Patterson.

Says Patterson,“There are so many incredible stories out there that never get written because life gets in the way. I wanted to give these writers a little time, a little space, and a push to say: your voice matters —now go finish your book.”

In addition to financial support, winners receive mentorship opportunities, resources, and encouragement from Patterson and his publishing partners.
