Back in November, we kicked off the Girls Write Now Holiday Appeal to support our girls and our programs in this, our 15th Anniversary Year. We set an ambitious goal of $100,000 and reached out far and wide for support. Your response was overwhelming! And I am proud to announce that we collectively raised a total of $102,706 on behalf of our powerful and expanding community of women writers! Thank you.
Not only did we have a larger number of community members fundraising for us than ever before, we also received more Holiday Appeal gifts — a record 748 — than in any previous year.
