We’re halfway through #GivingTuesday and close to our goal of raising $5,000 to sponsor a writing workshop. #GiveWriteNow to Girls Write Now and help mentor the next generation of women writers.
Our workshops are crucial for our young women writers — it’s when Mentees and the professional women writers and media makers who serve as their Mentors learn and write together in a supportive space. After our “Opening Lines” icebreaker, pairs “Share and Discover” new literature. At the heart of every workshop is an intergenerational exchange of passion and ideas.
Take a moment during your busy day to try this exercise…
Share our mission with a friend, colleague, or family member. Tell them:

• Why writing is important to you
• How a mentor changed your life, or
• What a young woman’s voice can do —

Then encourage them to give a gift to Girls Write Now.
Together, from our workshop participants — to our deeply committed supporters like you — we’ll discover the power of giving voice to girls.
