Author and Girls Write Now CHAPTERS keynote speaker Ana Castillo gives a complimentary review of Girls Write Now: Two Decades of True Stories from Young Female Voices in the September/October issue of Women’s Review of Books. Ana’s heartfelt review includes wishing that “an organization like Girls Write Now existed in Chicago when I was in my late teens writing alone. It felt like I was putting a message in a bottle. Decades later the bottle was found by this wonderful endeavor and the message has proliferated. The more voices of young women of color that are heard the brighter the path for everyone.”
