Want to be a YA-fiction writer? Young adulthood is marked by so many in-between and first times, creating rich material for writers to draw upon. Spring breaks, summer internships, study abroad, new friendships, and first love experiences with their potential to shift one’s perspective just a little bit, make great fodder for YA novels. It’s an exciting and emotional time of life, when moments of disruption occur in personal narratives of who you thought you were going to be, and what your place is in this rapidly changing world.
Join published YA-fiction author and Girls Write Now Mentor Amy Zhang as she takes us on a journey through the liminal space of young adulthood, shares her personal professional experience of becoming an author at a young age, and provides necessary tools for you to become a YA fiction author!
