Flat lay notebook with polaroids on an orange background

About the Event

What team are you on: pancakes? Or waffles? In this community studio, participants will learn what makes an effective argument and how to hone their distinct authorial voices to be both persuasive and engaging for potential readers. Attend these studios to learn more about essay writing—and to defend your position on the age-old question of pancakes vs. waffles.

In this lesson, participants will learn what defines an Op-Ed from other forms of argumentative writing, and begin constructing one of their own.
