Applying to College as a First-Generation & Neurodivergent Student

About the Event

This three-session workshop aims to help first-generation and neurodivergent students navigate the college journey from start to finish. Session 1 covers the application process, organization, and find the right college fit. Session 2 focuses on writing strong personal essays. Session 3 prepares students for the transition to college life.

In this studio, we’ll explore what makes a personal statement memorable. Participants will practice writing strong. authentic opening lines and lean how to use their voice to tell a compelling story.
