JM3: Zine Makers: Crafting A Peer Poetry Zine Journey Meeting

About the Event

In this final Journey meeting, participants will bring their collaborative poetry zine to completion by refining, reviewing, and preparing their designed pages for publication. Through discussions on ethical editing, visual storytelling, and the transition from digital design to physical production, participants will deepen their understanding of how publishing can serve as a tool for community-building, advocacy, and creative expression. Working in feedback circles, they will evaluate how effectively their designs honor each poet’s voice while contributing to a cohesive collective publication. By the end of the session, participants will have finalized their zine pages, reflected on the responsibilities of collaborative publishing, and explored strategies for sharing and distributing their completed zine with broader audiences.
