About the Event

What story have you been dying to tell? In this community studio, we will learn not only about the basics of playwriting, but many different kinds of storytelling. By learning more about the history of different storytelling methods such as spoken word and experimental theater, we will explore the power and freedom of storytelling and how we can use it to tell all of the stories inside of us.

In this studio, we will explore our deepest curiosities and how we can transform those into the dramatic questions that creates conflict in a story. We will also take a look at the relationship our characters’ emotions, wants, and needs has to the conflict and drama of our story.
