Off the Beaten Path: Unconventional and Hybrid Forms of Writing
About the Event
In this studio, we’ll explore a variety of unique forms of writing that break from traditional structures across various genres. We’ll experiment with unusual writing forms—from centos to speculative nonfiction essays—and approach creative writing from a new perspective! This session focuses on various forms of collage writing across genres. We will learn about collage techniques and learn how to apply these skills in our creative writing.
This studio explores various types of flash writing. We will learn about lists, drabbles, and postcard writing and get some hands-on experience writing our own!
